Fariba joined etude when the firm was established and holds a Masters degree in Architecture. As a principal of the company she brings many valuable and unique qualities to her work and has extensive expertise in residential, educational and community projects.
Her design approach is adapted to each type of project she oversees. Fariba has a talent for employing conventional materials in innovative ways, always perceiving customary functions and the interrelation of spaces with a fresh approach. This results in dynamic designs that nonetheless ensure the critical execution phase of the project remains feasible and uncomplicated. Each recreational, working and learning space becomes an uplifting environment through the skillful use of natural light and playful materials applied in unexpected ways.

When working on a residential project, Fariba explores the lifestyle of a family, striving to understand their unique needs while bringing their dream home to fruition. Her talent for listening to her client’s needs results in the creation of spaces that are joyful, memorable, healthy and worthy of calling home.

Fariba’s vast experience with public projects, such as community centers and schools, has made her adept at collaboration with various team players. She brings every member of the design team together, ensuring that all involved will contribute to the success of the project. Her keen management abilities also ensure that projects are delivered on time and on budget. Fariba’s clients recognize these capabilities and her work has been praised throughout the design and construction of numerous buildings.
