William Tredway JPS is a two storey structure built in nineteen fifties. In 2014 The school went under construction for the implementation of the FDK 5 program; as a result, a new link between this school and the adjacent school was proposed to provide access for use of shared facilities at JS Woodsworth by Tredway growing population. The link addition was constructed as an above ground overpass structure, connecting the schools at their second floor levels. Interior alterations were required in both structures. The extensive open concept classrooms at second floor of Woodsworth PS were modified to accommodate the new addition corridor.
